Day-Wise Itinerary
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Delhi towards the hills, passing through Chandigarh, Shimla, and forested mountain roads. As you reach Narkanda, known for its apple orchards and crisp mountain air, settle into your hotel and unwind. The evening is free to relax and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
After breakfast, continue deeper into Himachal as the landscape transforms dramatically along the Sutlej River. Enter the beautiful Kinnaur region, known for its wooden temples and untouched charm. Arrive in Sangla by evening, where you can take a gentle walk by the Baspa River and enjoy a peaceful night amidst towering mountains.
Begin the day with an excursion to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo–Tibet border, famous for its wooden houses and river-side trails. Later, drive towards Kalpa, offering spectacular views of the Kinnaur Kailash range. Spend the evening soaking in the serene atmosphere and snow-clad mountain vistas.
Today’s drive takes you into higher terrain as you cross dramatic landscapes dotted with tiny villages. Stop at the tranquil Nako Lake, nestled high in the mountains, before continuing to Tabo. Known for its thousand-year-old monastery, Tabo offers a deep sense of spiritual calm. Overnight stay in this historic Himalayan village.
Visit the ancient Tabo Monastery in the morning before heading towards the cliff-perched Dhankar Monastery, one of Spiti’s most iconic sights. Continue onwards to Kaza, the administrative center of Spiti Valley. The evening is free to explore local cafés and markets.
Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural heart of Spiti. Visit the magnificent Key Monastery, perched dramatically above the valley, followed by a trip to Kibber village. Later, witness the engineering marvel of Chicham Bridge, offering breathtaking canyon views. Return to Kaza for an overnight stay.
Explore the high villages surrounding Kaza, starting with Langza, known for ancient marine fossils and giant Buddha statues. Continue to Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, and then to Komic, one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Return to Kaza by evening.
An adventurous day as you cross the majestic Kunzum Pass, entering a world of stark beauty. Reach Chandratal Lake, famous for its crescent shape and surreal blue waters. Spend the evening walking near the lake and enjoying the silence of the high Himalayas before settling into your camp.
After breakfast, drive through rugged mountain terrain via Batal and Gramphu before entering the lush Kullu Valley through the Atal Tunnel (subject to conditions). Arrive in Manali by evening and enjoy leisure time at Mall Road or along the riverside.
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Delhi with memories of dramatic landscapes, ancient cultures, and unforgettable Himalayan experiences. The tour concludes upon arrival.
